Rules and Regulations

All homecraft entries must be handed in between 1:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 17, 2026 and picked up on Sunday, September 20, 2026 between 10:00 - 11:00 AM.

• Only one entry per person per section, except where noted.

• All exhibits are to be tagged and properly packaged for presentation.

• Prizes awarded only to a creditable entry.

• All exhibits must be the work of the exhibitor.

• Entries must be new articles, not exhibited in previous years at the Beaverton Fall Fair.

• Exhibitors are responsible for reading the rules pertaining to the specific section entered, as well as the rules and regulations outlined in each Class and on the Entry Form.

• Entry Forms and tags Must be filled out. Entry Forms are available online or at the Beaverton Library or Jack's Place for Kids before the fair or at the fairgrounds on Thursday, September 17. For junior fair entries - please include name of School and Age on Entry Form

• Please make sure your name/exhibitor number/school is on the Exhibitor tag. Numbers are obtained at registration. If you are entering an Adult Class, then you go to the Curling Club to obtain an Adult Exhibitor Number. If you are entering a Junior Class, then you go to the Scout Hall building to obtain a Junior Exhibitor Number.

• Adult Exhibitors must pay a fee of $5.00. The $5.00 exhibitor fee must be paid on or before making entries. The fee entitles exhibitors to submit as many items as desired (but only one entry per person per section, except where noted.). There is no entry fee for the junior fair classes but any junior entering an adult class shall pay the $5.00 exhibitors fee.

• The judge’s decision shall be final.

Junior Fair:

• Junior Exhibitors must enter the grade level they are at on the first day of school this year (2026-27).

• The exhibitor must do all work! Parents are urged to encourage their children in every way but let them do the work!

• All baking must be in plastic bags or wrap and displayed on paper plates.

• All pictures are to be a maximum size of 8.5 x 11 inches (21.59 cm x 27.94 cm) unless otherwise indicated.

• Junior Artwork need not be framed but MUST be mounted on a stiff backing. is suggested that unframed pictures be matted on Bristol board or construction paper. A picture that will not hang properly may not be accepted. The artist’s name should be covered to maintain anonymity.

• All junior exhibitors get $2.00 if no prize won.

• All students must enter under their own name.
