Notes to Parents:
1. All previous lists are null and void.
2. Entry Forms MUST be Filled Out. Entry Forms are available at the Beaverton Library & Maxines's after September 1 or in Beaverton Area Schools after Labour Day. Please include name of School and Age on Entry Forms.
3. Drop off Exhibits Thursday between 1:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. All Exhibits MUST be in place until 10:00 to 11:00 AM Sunday. Articles cannot be stored. Prize money will be available on Sunday in the Scout Hall between 10:00 and 11:00 am.
4. Please make sure your name, school & exhibitor number are on the Exhibitor ticket. Numbers are obtained at registration. If you are entering an Adult category you must go to the Curling Club to obtain an Adult Exhibitor Number and to pay the $5.00 Exhibitor Fee.
5. Exhibitors must enter the grade they were at on the first day of school this year.
6. The exhibitor must do all the work. Parents are urged to encourage their children in every way, but let them do the work!
7. No exhibitor may enter more than one entry in any section.
8. All baking must be in plastic bags or wrap and displayed on paper plates.
9. All pictures are to be a maximum size of 8.5 x 11 inches (21.59 cm x 27.94 cm) unless indicated otherwise.
10. JUNIOR ARTWORK need not be framed but MUST be mounted on a stiff backing. It is suggested that unframed pictures be matted on Bristol board or construction paper. A picture that will not hang properly may not be accepted. The Artists name should be covered to maintain anonymity.
11. Everyone gets $2.00 if no prize won.
12. All students must enter under own name.
13. Please bring Pink copy of Exhibitor Sheet for prize money pickup.
14. Any section can be completed in school, but it must be sent home for the parent(s) to fill out a Junior Exhibitor form and the parent/child must take form to the Scout Hall on the Thursday of the Fair weekend.

CLASS 7
GRADE 5
1. Create a Fall Fair Float using the Fair Theme (max. size 8.5" x 11") - 2022 Fair Theme is "Back to our Rural Roots"
2. Create a mobile using items from nature.
3. Decorate a container with 5 non-perishable food items to make an Italian Dinner (mark the contents on the bottom of tin)
4. Write a story about a person who has influenced you.
CLASS 8
GRADE 6
1. Make a Poster (any media) to show an Ecological message
2. Using a shoebox, create a Diorama of a Wildlife Natural Habitat. Handmade with natural content open on one side
3. Decorate a container with 5 non-perishable items for a "Chili Night" (mark the contents on the bottom of tins)
4. Make a Dream Catcher using all-natural materials
CLASS 9
GRADE 7 & 8
1. Create a free-standing scarecrow - no taller than 3 feet high
2. Choose a favorite song title, lyric or verse and make it into a picture using any media. No inappropriate language (max. size 8.5" x 11")
3. Create a Greeting Card for any holiday, include an original verse or poem
4. Create a "Canimal" - any Animal or Bird for the Food Bank (mark the contents on bottom of tin)
CLASS 10
GRADE 9 - 12
1. Choose a song title, lyric or verse and analyze it - what it means to you (1 or 2 paragraphs)
2. Create a fall wreath using natural materials
3. Write an essay about Pioneer ways in Beaverton as compared to the Present Day
4. Create an Original Work of Art - any media
