PRESIDENT'SMESSAGE

2020 Beaverton Fair

Welcome to 167 years of tradition, commitment and community!

To celebrate the incredible changes that have occurred during the duration of the Beaverton Fall Fair, this year's theme is "From Pioneer Days to Modern Ways". You can look forward to more vendors, more competitions and larger horse and 4H cattle shows, in addition to the food, midway and entertainment you already love.

One thing that hasn't changed from the pioneer days is how important it is to recognize: the hard work and skill that goes into the harvested crops; growing incredible flowers and vegetables; creating delicious baking, preserves, arts and crafts; raising livestock; and passing all of these skills on to the next generation. I hope you take a few minutes to appreciate the continuity and importance of agriculture, as well as marvel at the modern changes.

There are way too many people to thank for ensuring that this 167-year tradition continues. This event takes all year to plan, organize and hustle to pull off for the community, by the community. Without the volunteers and sponsors we couldn't make this happen. Without the community, there would be no reason to. We are always looking for volunteers and sponsors to support this event, so please volunteer if you can. Any Board member can tell you all about the volunteer options.

A special thanks goes out to the Board of Directors who work year-round to make the Fair happen, as well as to the loyal sponsors listed in the Fair book and website - without your continued support, we could not have such a wonderful event. Enjoy the exhibits, buy something fun, watch some shows, eat your yearly quotient of fair fries, and get a little sick on the rides!

Enjoy the Fair!

2020 President

MAYOR'S MESSAGE

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Corporation of the Township of Brock, I welcome you to the 166th Beaverton Fall Fair!

This year the Fair Board has been hard at work to bring in new and exciting events that are sure to entertain every member of the family, while respecting and integrating the rural roots of the fair. The Beaverton Fall Fair provides a wonderful atmosphere for play, education and friendly competition. It is also a great place to greet neighbours and meet friends old and new.

We are so proud of the community for rallying together to keep the Beaverton Fall Fair moving forward. Without the enthusiastic efforts of the Fair Board, supporters and many volunteers. This event would not be possible. Thank you for all that you do.

I hope to see Kids in the Fair, Everywhere, with their families and friends enjoying a longstanding feature of the Beaverton Community. Have fun and enjoy!

Sincerely,
Debbie Bath-Hadden
Mayor
Township of Brock
